History

LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL band aims mainly at instrumental rock music, which is dedicated to guitar interpretation experts and specialists, as well as to high grade musical fans, regardless of age or musical taste. Since 2005 the band is appearing also with the singer Martin "Handrush" Androvič.
Musical art of this band found favourable acceptance both with the professionals and laymen, at home as well as in foreign countries, because of the precise performance and variety of music motives. Besides playing live in concerts, LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL regularly takes part in musical fairs and musical instrument workshops. The leader of the band is the guitarist PALO CHODELKA.

1994 - 1997 - LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL is established in September 1994 by guitarist Palo Chodelka, bassguitarist Tomáš Mastiš and drummer Ďuso Petrus. In this composition, the band performs in concerts and workshops, presenting Sabian and UPG - Urban Proffesional Guitars, products exclusively. In June 1996, the first album "PALO CHODELKA - LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL" (later "Palo Chodelka - Hard Rock Guitar 1") is released.

1997 - 1998 - Recording of the next album. Vlado Gajdoš enters the band as a keyboard player. The second album "LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL - 475.196" (later "Palo Chodelka - Hard Rock Guitar 2") is released in October 1998.

1999 - 2000 - Personal changes begin. Vlado Gajdoš leaves the band and Lubo Lichý comes to play drums. Ľuboš Tomaščik plays in the band as a guest keyboard player. Palo Chodelka, together with the band, shoots 15-volume television series "GUITAR SCHOOL" in the beginning of the year 1999. The band performs in several concerts and festivals. In the end of 2000 the band releases the third album "LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL - STILL HIGHER" (later "Palo Chodelka - Hard Rock Guitar 3").

2001 - At the beginning of the year 2001 the next two albums are released. These albums "ACTION & SPORT" and "COMMERCIAL CUTS 13", which were recorded by Palo Chodelka, are aimed for professional use in media. In May, radical personal changes are realized and new young musicians join the band: nineteen years old bassguitarist Robo Trunkvalter and twenty-one years old drummer Jano Huljak. The keyboards plays Ľuboš Tomaščik as a guest musician. Since September 2001 Palo Chodelka starts to prepare multimedial project CD-ROM "ROCK GUITAR SCHOOL 1, 2 and 3."In the end of the year the next album of Palo Chodelka "REST ROCK" is released.

2002 - Recording of album "PALO CHODELKA - GUITAR TRANSCENDENCE", on which Ľuboš Tomaščik plays keyboards, is finished in February. In March EP of KALIJUGE! is being recorded and Palo Chodelka accepts an offer to become a member of this band. In May LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL co-operates on recording of EP of singer Jaro GaĹľo. In June a demo version of CD-ROM "PALO CHODELKA - ROCK GUITAR SCHOOL 1" is released. At the end of the year the album GUITAR TRANSCENDENCE and also full version of multimedia project CD-ROM "PALO CHODELKA - ROCK GUITAR SCHOOL 1" is released.

2003 - LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL is working on a next album. In September - October Liquid records in Wolfland studio his new instrumental album. Liquid records also some songs with singer Peter Holták. In november Palo Chodelka and Ľuboš Tomaščik record next album "Postproduction pack" for the Fontana publishing Prague. In december the 2nd part of the multimedia project CD ROM Palo Chodelka - Rock Guitar School 2 is released.

2004 - At the beginning of the year the album "Palo Chodelka - POSTPRODUCTION PACK 2" is released. In April CD "Palo Chodelka & LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL - Adrenaline Invasion" is released. During the year LBR took part on the various concerts, festivals and series of workshops. At the end of the year 3rd part of multimedia project CD-ROM "PALO CHODELKA - ROCK GUITAR SCHOOL 3" is released.

2005 - Palo Chodelka publishes his workshop series named ROCK GUITAR WORKSHOP in music magazine Muzikus. New singer Martin "Handrush" Androvič became a member of Liquid Boogie Roll in april 2005. Liquid works on their new album. At the end of 2005 year Palo Chodelka the release other new multimedia project CD ROM GUITAR SCHOOL FOR ALL.

2006 - Liquid Boogie Roll is finishing the work on its new CD which will be released in june 2006, under the name LIQUID - Another dimension. The band is dividing its production. Intrumental production will be appearing under the mark Palo Chodelka & LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL and singed production under the mark LIQUID. Palo Chodelka is working on his new album called Guitar Variations for the label FONTANA.

2007 - Palo Chodelka joined as lead guitarist to slovak punk-rock legend named Konflikt. Except ascending in the band Konflikt, in March 2007 Palo assorting new instrumental band. The band plays in constitution: Palo – guitar, Krstián Kadlečík – bassguitar, Lojzo Horník –drums. Band plays under the name Palo Chodelka & LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL. In 2007 Palo Chodelka graduated a lot of concerts at home and in abroad.

2008 - Palo works on a first official DVD called Palo Chodelka & LIQUID Boogie Roll. In july former bass player Tomáš Mastiš returns and replaces Kristian Kadlečík. During the autumn the band plays few gigs as a ROCK GUITAR TOUR 2008 in line up Palo Chodelka, Tomáš Mastiš and Lojzo Horník.

2009 - In January the band Konflikt releases DVD called Konfliktology 1990-2008. In March LBR releases first offcial DVD called Palo Chodelka & LIQUID Boogie Roll – Around those Liquid years. DVD contains music videos, concert, history and bobus videos. During the autumn LBR playes gigs as a ROCK GUITAR TOUR 2009 in current line up Palo Chodelka, Tomáš Mastiš, Lojzo Horník and Martin "Handrush" Androvič.

2010 - During this year Palo works on a new rocord with Konflikt. It will be released in early 2011.
In fall 2010 Palo & LBR plays small tour called ROCK GUITAR SESSION 2010 with czech guitar legends Honza “Kirk” BÄ›hunek, with his band Seven and Petr Henych with his band G-point.

2011 - In April Konflikt releases a record called Somnium under a label DUNA. During this yeras Palo playes many gigs in Slovakia and abroad and works on an instrumental album called PUNK.

2012 - Instrumental album called PUNK is released in Prague under label Fontana Music Library. Palo playes many gigs in Slovakia and abroad.

2013 - Label Fontana Music Library is releasing the album Commercial cuts 25 at the beginning of the year 2013 which is dedicated mainly for commercial and radio breaks. At September the publisher Fontana is releasing the instrumental album Asphalt Wars.

2014 - In April 2014 Palo Chodelka ends his cooperation and quit the band Konflikt. He spent seven years in a band, played over 650 shows and released three albums.
In summer of 2014 Palo works on his new musical project for Theater Centre of Martin, which will be released during 2015.
In months November 2014 - January 2015 band Liquid Boogie Roll will complete concerts series called ROCK GUITAR SHOW. On drummer position will alternate Lojzo Horník and Jano Huljak.

2015 - During the first half of 2015 the band countinues with a project called Rock Guitar Show and plays several gigs under a name ROCK GUITAR SHOW vol.2.
During 2015 Palo Chodelka works on his new guitar school. Besides that he works with Lojzo Horník on his debut drumming school.

2016 - Changes in lineup, Peter “Pepe“ Rusnák joins the band as a new bass player. LBR plays a set of gigs called ROCK GUITAR SHOW 2016. In May of 2016 Palo Chodelka joins Brainscan as a permanent guitar player and playes few summer festivals. At the end of 2016 the members of Liquid Boogie Roll and Brainscan are joining the project called “LIQUID BRAIN ROLL“ and playing a number of shows together.

2017 – “LIQUID BRAIN ROLL“ project is still alive in 2017 and both bands are planning few gigs. During the summer of 2017 LBR will play on several summer festivals. After that the band is planning to work on a new material.

2018 – From February to June 2018 LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL is playing a tour called NEW BREATH 2018 where the fans could hear trakcs from the upcoming new album. In the second half of the year the band is working on a new material.

2019 – In January 2019, former bass player Robert Trunkvalter is joining the band. LIQUID BOOGIE ROLL is still working on a new material. Besides that he is also participate on release of the album from LADY JANE - Čierny motýľ.

2020 – Recording of the new Liquid Boogie Roll album at Birdland Studios will begin in March 2020. The album Lady Jane - Black Butterfly will be released in April 2020. In May, Palo Chodelka composed music material for Consulting , which was released in several language versions.
At the end of the year, he is preparing and recording a new album for the Prague label Fontana Music Library.

2021 – In April, LBR members Palo Chodelka and Robo Trunkvalter became part of the DEX Duševný Experiment project, whose leading personality is the musician Rasťo Novotný . The twelfth album for the Prague publishing house Fontana Music Library will be released in May. The recording of the Lady Lady EP - 2022 took place in August. During 2021, Palo Chodelka founded the music group CAFÉ STRINGS , which is an unconventional combination of classical guitar and harp.

2022 – Since January, Palo Chodelka has become a corporate player of “REMEN experience” . The first music video for “CAFÉ STRINGS” is released in February, and www.cafestrings.com
In the summer of 2022, recording and production of the long-awaited Liquid Boogie Roll album continues at Birdland Studios.

2023 – Since the beginning of 2023, Liquid Boogie Roll has been working on the preparation of more news.
The band decided to include these songs on the latest album. Their realization is planned for the summer of 2023. After the recording is completed, the band will work on mixing and mastering the recording.
